Song choice--excellent! But I'm sure you already know that.
The pacing is really very good. You really nail the beats. You pick clips that have just the right amount of movement and change them up at just the right pace. It's stays fun and uptempo, but I never feel frenzied, like I can't keep up.
I love the pattern you established with your choruses. The "I've been closed" and "I've been burned" taking on their own individual scenes.
Your clips also have some great story-telling going on. (Hard not too with the great song choice, but you really picked them very well). There were so many really amazing moments, I'll pick just a few of my favorites.
0:55 Justin's little smirky smile right on the beat! Eek, so nailed it.
1:06 "I don't think you want to start that shit..." That totally looks like that's exactly what he's saying in the clip too. It's amazing!
1:23 He's grin for "I think you wanna play" So cute, and then the flash of light right on the beat. Totally awesome.
1:46 Justin making eye contact with the camera for "I'm not a virgin". Just a great, sassy moment.
2:26 "Shit" Probably my favorite moment in the whole vid. The timing is perfect.
2:56 and 3:03 "I've been open" "I've been divided" Tehee. That's so naughty.
3:18 That paricular Justin expression is really sexy. Gonna have to remember that.
3:23 "Uh" Again with the great timeing. I love that stuff.
You have a couple stray frames. Getting rid of those is one of the best/most important things you can do. It's like spelling in a fic. It'll jar people out of the moment, and undo all your hard work.
If you don't have quite enough clip material to cover your beat without the stray frame, you can usually cheat a little, and slow down the clip an insignificant amount, just enough to cover the beat, but not enough to be noticible to the viewer.
There's one around 1:09, it cuts back to Justin's dad on the driveway for a split second before cutting to him inside.
Just before 2:02, there's a stray frame leading into the neck lick.
Just before 2:48. I think you may have been trying to interlace this neck lick clip, because it doesn't seem like it comes from either of the surrounding clips. But it's too short and so it comes across as a stray frame.
I totally loved it though. I hope you make more!

There were some parts were the editing was a bit off, as in, you left it a bit of another frame, not just the one you wanted to use? Don't know if that makes sense at all. Anyhoo, I also did it a lot when I started making vids, but with time and practice you get better at catching that.
But aside from that, you get an A. :D
The extra frames are bugging me. I will do it without them or die trying next video :D
I'll tell you what I liked. You kept it going. The pacing was decent. You didn't linger too long on a clip before moving on. And it's a medium-speed song, so that's important.
I also liked when you had Justin with that bratty expression at "yeah right". That was cute.
Some things to maybe work on... (since a first vid is for learning, after all! :) You started with early season 1 stuff, which was ok... but it never moved on. It kind of felt like you didn't have any other clips so you were trying to fill in the rest of the vid with subject matter you had already covered.
I like the idea of Justin turning from virgin to hot little sex kitten (hee!). I would have liked to see a little more footage that showed just how much of a "big queer" (Justin's words, not mine...) he became in just the short timeframe of all of season 1. Like, even up to 110, when he was all *licks Brian and gets fucked like crazy in a New York hotel room*.
I would also avoid trying to shove characters into unnatural roles in the song. I like that you tried to have Justin talking to Jennifer, but the "I thought you should know honey before we begin" part seemed a little off and unfitting for Justin/Jennifer. It might have been better to focus on how that line is really saying, "you may think I'm innocent, but I'm about to prove you wrong".
Little Justin... so cute. He is a great subject for any type of vidding. :D I'll be interested to see what you do next!

That would be because I only had 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 :D But now I have more. I mean, some of the repetitions of different bits of scenes were deliberate, but some were from lack of other things.
I'm going to do the most sappy song next. Mostly because I know no one will ever do it for me due to the extreme sap factor!
